Truly Nolen has been a family-owned business for over 70 years. Founded in 1938, Truly Nolen grew from a modest business in Miami, Florida to a multi-location enterprise in the southeastern portion of the US. Taking his father’s company dream one step further, Truly David Nolen founded a separate business in the western territory of the country by opening a business in Tucson, AZ in 1955. These two companies were later merged in the late 1960s to form the company we are today - Truly Nolen of America. Today, we are proud of our 131 international franchises and continue to grow and flourish.
Truly Nolen isn’t just the name of the company - it’s also the name of the original founder! Truly Wheatfield Nolen founded the business in 1938, and today, his son, Truly David Nolen runs the company full-time from his office in Naples, Florida.
