Prevent Pests During Your Springtime Cleaning!

Get rid of pesky pests during your spring cleaning!

Jorge Sandoval, the Anaheim Branch Manager of Truly Nolen, stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to tell viewers about spring time pest control steps!

Because it's termite season in Los Angeles, it's important to try and prevent any damage. Rarely covered by home insurance, the formidable termite causes more damage to homes than storms, fires and floods combined. Infestations cause over $5 billion annually.

How will I know my home is infested?

If you find little wings around your door or window frame, it's a sure sign of a termite infestation within your home.

Does my entire house need to be treated?

Should it be determined there is a termite infestation, the whole house does need to be treated to ensure a proper elimination of the pest throughout the home.

Are treatment chemicals harmful to my family and pets?

No, a series of high quality and environmentally conscious materials are used an not harmful.

Infestation options:

There are several options both preventative and when an infestation occurs. Services and pricing varies. Viewers can also visit the site and take a test that will give you a custom scorecard and tell you if you are at low, moderate or a high lever risk for pest invasions. Your personal score card will give you an overview of what effects your risk and tips on how to minimize pest activity inside your home
