Chinch Bugs Facts

  • Adult chinch bugs are about 1/5 inches long.
  • Chinch bugs have black bodies and white wings folded across their backs.

Chinch Bug Bites & Treatment

Adult chinch bugs and their nymphs cause grasses to wilt, because they suck juices out of grass blades and stems. Although chinch bugs are capable of injuring plants such as grasses they are medically harmless to humans.
