I saw this big wasp nest so I called Truly Nolen pest control. It turned out to be a bald-faced hornet's nest. Which I later learned from Rick's pest control knowledge. He was fast and killed the nest and removed it from my yard. Thank you Rick.

Bed Bug Control

Truly Nolen Monmouth County Bed Bug Control Image

Although not dangerous, bed bugs are a terrible nuisance and inconvenience, both emotionally and financially. Not only is there a social stigma attached to having a bed bug problem in your home, but because they are difficult to get rid of, homeowners may find themselves spending a lot of time and money to eradicate these pesky pests. These bugs can enter the home unnoticed by way of furniture, household goods or from suitcases used while traveling.

Special attention is used to treat areas where bed bugs take up residence in your home, including furniture, bedding and cracks or crevices where bed bugs can hide. After our service experts have applied the necessary treatment methods, timely follow up is recommended, typically 10 days after initial service, to confirm that the infestation has been eradicated completely.

Termite Control

Truly Nolen Monmouth County Termite Control Image

Although different types of termites are active throughout most states, the most common, destructive termite that is native to New Jersey is the Eastern Subterranean termite. Since termites work underground and inside the walls of your home, they can often go undetected for extended periods of time. Since these infestations are challenging to detect, severe structural damage can be caused and is often the root problem of millions of dollars in damage to homes each year. Your Truly Nolen pest experts of Monmouth County, NJ can provide a thorough inspection to determine the extent of damage if you suspect that you may have a termite infestation.

Our Total Termite Protection PlanSM combines above and below ground treatments inside and outside of the home, providing long term protection against re-infestation guaranteed! In fact, our guarantee is one of the strongest in the businesses up to $1M dollars.

Protecting your home from termites starts with education on termite basics such as identification, warning signs, and getting an annual termite inspection.

Did you know?

  • Eastern subterranean termites are highly destructive to Douglas fir and other common building timbers, making these insects a serious, economic threat, especially in areas where these trees are highly congested.
  • Eastern subterranean termites are particularly difficult to find as they enter buildings in areas that are inaccessible to inspection such as expansion joints or cracks or fire heaths.
  • Eastern subterranean termites swarm in large numbers.
  • Termite swarms usually occur in the spring when the warmer weather sets in.

To properly treat subterranean termites, it is necessary to apply treatment methods that result in total colony elimination whereby the queen termite is destroyed, effectively killing the colony and preventing future growth. A combination of above and below ground treatments ensures that all possible areas of entry are checked so that appropriate bait methods are used. Crucial to proper termite treatment is a regularly scheduled follow up treatment, typically every 3 to 6 months.

Your Truly Nolen of Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean counties pest professionals provide a thorough Termite Inspection for your home or business to identify any problems and discuss solutions that are right for you. Call us today!

Rodent Control

Truly Nolen Monmouth County Rodent Control Image

Rodents, including rats and mice, are known to spread many germs and diseases, making them one of the most feared pests by homeowners and business owners alike. With the ability to re-populate quickly, the first signs of a rodent infestation should be reported to your Truly Nolen of Holmdel pest professional.

The Truly Nolen Exclusion method is proven to be one of the most effective solutions for eradicating rodents from your home. Since rats and mice have soft bone cartilage, they are able to enter any small opening in your home. The Truly Nolen Exclusion method thereby starts with sourcing and filling any gaps or holes to deny rodents any opportunity to enter. Once new rodents have no way into the home, our experts work at trapping and eliminating any rats or mice that already exist inside. We take the time to thoroughly inspect your home and identify common entry points putting in place measures to eliminate the current infestation and establish barriers to entry.

Did you know?

  • Fall is a prime time for rodents to actively seek food, water and shelter when temperatures drop and before the winter weather arrives.
  • Each fall, rats and mice invade an estimated 21 million American homes.
  • The best way to prevent a rodent infestation and contact with rodents is to remove the food sources, water, and items that provide shelter for rodents.
  • The most common types of rats that come into close contact with humans are the Norway rats and Roof rats.
  • Rats are excellent swimmers and can leap as high as 3 or 4 feet.

Truly Nolen's Complete Rodent Control Program is guaranteed for one year. Call us today to schedule your FREE Rodent Inspection.

Bee & Wasp

Truly Nolen Monmouth County Bee and Wasp Control Image

According to the State of New Jersey Department of Agriculture, “New Jersey's 20,000 bee colonies, valued at $350 per colony, represent a $7 million honey bee industry for the state and contribute to successful production of nearly $200 million worth of fruits and vegetables annually.”

Indeed, bees and wasps are crucial to the overall ecosystem and greatly benefit the environment; however, stinging insects such as these can be a danger to your family if they are in close enough proximity. Truly Nolen of Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean provides homeowners with bee & wasp inspections, designed to evaluate any present threat and the extent to which there may be a possible infestation.

Removal of bee hives is a dangerous procedure, and one that should be handled with extreme care and attention to detail. Using protective clothing and special equipment, your Truly Nolen trained professional can safely remove any hive or nests that have been built near your home.

Truly Nolen also provides full colony removal where needed and programs to reduce bee and wasp populations in the future.
