Commercial Three Zone Protection Plan

Back

The THREE ZONE treatment program for commercial properties begins by targeting exterior areas on the premises, reducing insect populations and harborage sites that are often the origin of infestations. Subsequently, treated zones are established around the building to prevent pests from entering occupied spaces. By proactively addressing pest issues at their source and minimizing intrusive treatments near business operations, facility managers can ensure a safer environment and greater peace of mind for employees and visitors.

The GREEN ZONE are the exterior areas that could harbor conditions conducive to infestation. Walkways, parking lots, visitor benches, trash areas, entrances, and customer drop points.

The YELLOW ZONE focuses on Interior focal points in which an infestation is more likely, and control efforts should be proactively implemented. Kitchens, food prep/food storage areas, employee restrooms, janitorial service areas and locker rooms.

The RED ZONE is any location with customer access, where highly discreet application protocol is essential. Entrances, lobbies, elevators, public restrooms, reception areas and vending locations.

Note:  Zone designations are different for hospitals and food processing plants.  There is no residual material used in the Red Zone for either of these locations.
