Initial Service

Normal Protocol shall be:

Prior to the initial service, the branch, franchisee or service partner manager shall contact the clinic to schedule the initial inspection and service.

When the technician arrives for the initial service they will:

  • Complete a full inspection to identify current pest issues and any conditions conducive that may contribute to potential pest issues
  • Put the site on an immediate treatment schedule to combat any issues identified during the inspection
  • Document any sanitation, structural or other conditions conducive to pest activity
  • Establish the best day and time for future bi-monthly services
  • Provide the clinic with a Truly Nolen log book and review how to use it

PLEASE NOTE:  PM services will be Bi-Monthly unless the Center has rodent or other ongoing pest issues or conditions conducive to pest infestations requiring a greater frequency

Standard Preventative Maintenance Service

Normal Protocol shall be:

Treatment areas include common areas such as the employee’s lounge, lobby, restrooms, dumpster and trash areas, patient treatment areas, office(s), entry points and hot spots under sinks, etc.

Each service will begin with an inspection of the center. Treatments will be conducted based on the result of the inspection.  Standard treatments during normal patient care hours include the use of dusts, baits and insect monitoring devices. No sprays or fumigation type services are permissible.  If treatments are required in and around patient chairs, the treatments will be scheduled for a time when patients are not present. Special service pricing may apply to after hour’s services.

Any infestations that are caused by a patient or a delivery introducing pests into the clinic, may be looked at on a case-by-case basis to determine if special services and/or a frequency increase is required. If a clinic develops or has an ongoing rodent or roach issue due to structural or geographic conditions, etc. the technician will make recommendations for additional services such as rodent exclusion/rodent proofing, mass trapping, and specialized equipment and/or after hour’s treatments.

All services shall be performed by appropriately trained and qualified personnel using reasonable skill and diligence. Services will be rendered in a competent and professional manner and in accordance with all industry standards and best practices applicable to the performance of such services.

BED BUGS:

The Truly Nolen technician will come prepared to treat at time of the inspection. They will first complete an inspection in area of suspected activity. If a clinic believes there is bed bug activity throughout the clinic they will then complete a full site inspection.

If a Bed Bug was found but there is no additional bed bug found or accompanying eggs and nymphs, then the chairs and the area around where bed bug activity was observed or a bed bug was found should be treated with a sterilizing product such as Sterifab. The base of the chairs and walls within 5 feet should be treated with properly labeled products.

When bed bug eggs, nymphs and/or adults are identified in a treatment location then all equipment and chairs around where the bed bug activity is found should be treated. The base of equipment and chairs along with all cracks, crevices and any voids within the area where activity was found should be treated with a dust product in conjunction with a micro-encapsulated product or other long lasting residual product.

For those clinics that are heavily infested throughout and will require a full site treatment, the provider will prepare a proposal to send to TN National based on the size and areas to be treated and the estimated time to do the full site treatment. TN National will then acquire pricing approval from FMC. DO NOT do a full site treatment without approval.
