What Are White Flies?

White flies mainly thrive in a hot environment such as in South Florida. These pest strip nutrients from trees and leave sticky substance that appeal to ants attracting more insects to the infested area. Description:

  • Tiny, snow-white insect pests that (when viewed under a magnifying glass) resemble moths. Four broad wings that are held roof like over the body and covered with a white powdery wax. White flies leave a sticky substance that appeal to ants attracting more insects to the infested area.
